Welcome to the

Halifax Congregational Church

The Church In the Heart of Halifax

The Covenant of the church shall be to bind together followers of Jesus Christ for the purpose of sharing in the worship of God and in making God’s will dominant in the lives of all people, individually and collectively, especially as that will is set forth in the life, teachings and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We covenant to follow Christ as willing disciples, as servants and as neighbors in fellowship together

The Mission of our church is to embrace discipleship in following Christ in action, service and growing faithfulness. The mission of our church is to help people satisfy their needs, both spiritually and physically, and as true ambassadors of Christ to be sensitive and responsive to the needs of the community and the world using the gifts God has provided in a spirit of love and devotion.
